CNQ 2007 Trading Year in Review
CNQ saw a major increase in volume, value and number of trades from 2006. In fact, trading on CNQ in 2007 outperformed any full year of trading on CNQ since its inception, not only in quantity but also in the rate of growth. This activity speaks strongly to the extent of investor interest in the underlying stock list.
Volume increased by a remarkable 55.7% with 391,657,359 shares traded over the course of 2007.
Even more dramatically, the value of those trades increased by 223.4%, with a total dollar value traded in 2007 of $226,528,875.
In concert with the above activity, the number of trades increased by 85.1% over the previous year with a total of 32,142 transactions in 2007.
