CNSX Stock Exchange at the 2008 Canadian Innovation Exchange

CNSX- Canadian National Stock Exchange

CNSX continues to fulfill its mandate as the optimal destination for emerging companies seeking capital.  By attending the 2008 Canadian Innovation Exchange Conference, CNSX will be taking center stage before hundreds of emerging companies and investors, including investment dealers on both sides of the border.  Robert Cook, CNSX’s President, will be addressing a large crowd of entrepreneurs eager for guidance on how to get their companies to the next level.

The event takes place April 29 and 30 in downtown Toronto at the Carlu, and will include meeting and networking opportunities for all members of the entrepreneurial world, from entrepreneurs and companies looking for funding to banks, law firms, private equity firms, VCs and every level of professional investor.  Of the importance of the event, Mr. Cook said, “It is by participating in these environments, that CNSX can present itself to a great many companies in immediate need of our services – specifically our listed market, GoPublicInCanada.com and DealExchange.ca.

Many worthy companies and business people with enterprising ideas will be present, representing an ideal opportunity for CNSX to show how its services and listing can help these companies succeed. CNSX staff will be engaged with all of them of course, always on the lookout for that company with breakout potential. Indeed, it was only a generation ago that a solitary successful company propelled the then-fledgling NASDAQ, an exchange not unlike CNSX is today, from relative obscurity to international prominence.  As this company grew it was invited to list on the NYSE but declined because of the support the NASDAQ provided them in the early years. Of course that company was none other than Microsoft, which made NASDAQ a household name and is now the NASDAQ OMX Group, which calls itself the world's largest exchange company
